My Namesake

Papa recently found a picture of Uncle Barry and Grandpa Brian and he thought I looked a bit like Uncle Barry when he was little. What do you think?

First Portrait

Mama took me for portraits at Yuen Lui. I charmed the ladies there because I smiled in every shot. We got a couple of poses but this is the one Mama liked best.

Teeth!

If you look really closely you can see my teeth buds. Papa found them after Mama said I'd been fussy all afternoon. I'm still pretty happy and sleeping at night. Mama said I'm a trooper.

Upright bathing

I've been crying in the infant bathtub sling so Mama switched my tub to the sitting setup. I enjoy my bath very much now. I'm waving to the camera.

Naptime

I enjoy naps in my crib. I'm a tummy sleeper...sssh. Don't tell my pediatrician.

Torchlight!

We took brother to the parade. The police came first and their sirens made me cry, but I soon got used to all the noises of the parade and I was very happy.

Mama's Birthday

We went to Seabrook for Mama's birthday. Although cold and windy, I loved the beach. Ana got to carry me in the Bjorn. I liked seeing her again. Kina ran and ran on the beach like a young pup. After all the running, she needed a nap.

Jumparoo!

My friend Elizabeth gave me her deluxe jumparoo because she is done with it. Since I'm strong and can hold my head up, I can play in it already! I need Mama's yoga bricks to get the mad jumping action going because I'm about 4" short of the floor. The photo's blurry because I'm jumpin'!

This is how I roll

On Saturday I rolled over for the first time! Mama and Papa were so happy. They put me on my tummy and I lift my wing like this and roll! Apparently my big headed brother was unable to lift his head and roll over. He just sorta lumbered around then crawled for a week, then walked. I'm on my way to mobility!

Just the two of us

I don't do much right now, so sorry the pictures aren't so interesting. This is a nice picture of my brother. It also shows what I do most of the day...suck on my hand.

Sunbathing

It was really hot a few weekends ago. Papa took me outside for a warm snooze while my brother dipped his feet in his tugboat pool. Big brother later 'baptized' me when Papa wasn't looking. Just wait til I can walk.

I'm not the only one with a big head

This is a pretty nice picture of me and my brother. Except I'm a little spooked by his huge head leaning on me. Kina sneaks into the picture again!

Cradle Cap Blues

I have cradle cap, which is itchy, dry scalp because my sweat glands have finally opened and my head is growing bigger than my skin can keep up with. On top of it all, the smell is appealing to the dogs...how humiliating!

Pirate Baby

I'm trying to fight the nickname given to me by my brother, but in this picture I'm not helping that image. Argggghh.

My Buddy

My brother loves me. He loves taking pictures with me. He also loves squishing me. Just wait til I grow bigger than him.

Here I am, all cleaned up and bundled up. Whew, what a tiring morning!

Bocha Bocha

Here's my first bath with nurse Anna. They had to put me under the grow light to get warm enough to take the bath, then I had to sit under it after the bath. Do you think I got a tan?

Proud Papa

Here's me and my Papa. Ahh. So comfy in his arms. He was very happy to see me. Mama was very happy to have me out of her.

Weighing In

Here I am world! I weighed 6lbs 11.8oz. Its bright out here. This is the nice student nurse. I was the first birth she officially witnessed.
